Idaho Police Work in the 1960s

Mike Hicks was a deputy sheriff in Ada County during the heydays of the 1960s. It’s how he put himself through school at Boise State College. His days as a country cop were fraught with all kinds of excitement. He was awarded “Policeman of the Year” and was recognized for being a good officer with an exemplary arrest record. He also received numerous citations for good things he did within the community of Boise and for the people of Ada County. Listen-in as he tells part of his story…
